Year 9 & 10 Category, 2021
The year 9 and 10 writers pursued sophisticated themes and concepts in their narratives this year. Much of the writing reflected the uncertainty of our present situation in the midst of Covid.
The judges noted that the most successful pieces combined authentic voice and conscious control of language while maintaining plot development.
