Years 11 and 12 writers enjoyed imaginative forays into futuristic worlds whilst also exploring contemporary issues. In addition, the judges acknowledge the skilful way that writers responded to their experiences as readers of good literature.

Both are English teachers who also worked as educational consultants in the USA. Christina is a former ACTATE executive member and Sandra was a principal of an ACT college.
